Coloured Orangery, Lake District

A little extra space can go a long way as this compact orangery in the Lake District highlights. A combination of bricks and glass marries the substantial structure of a traditional extension with the additional light achieved with a conservatory, so that the client benefits from additional indoor living space that also creates an outdoor living feel. The stone white colour used here is a subtle shade of green which perfectly matches the colour of the original house windows.
