Not surprisingly we sometimes get a blank stare. But it's an important question because sometimes investing in a new extension can have an effect on other rooms in your home that you didn't anticipate. And sometimes a client who wanted a new conservatory actually ends up with a new orangery because they hadn't considered the impact on the existing home. And on occasion an extension benefits from consolidating two internal rooms to create a whole living space that brings a house to life.

Precision planning and costing — right down to the last brick
As you might expect Crystal has invested heavily to develop a planning and costing system that allocates and costs every element of a build, down to the number of nuts and bolts. Literally. What that means is you end up paying for only those things you need and nothing you don't. If you need 459 bolts that's what you pay for, not 500 (or even 100). If you need 41.5 days construction time you'll pay for 41.5, not roughly 50!
What that means is that we don't cut corners and every penny you pay is an investment in what you end up with. There are no rough guesses or approximations. This also means when we say we'll be done by Tuesday 20th, that's exactly when we intend to be finished. Not “sometime this summer!”.

We don't fudge or come up with excuses. We make a promise and we stick to it. And if problems arise, we are honest with clients and talk through options, we don't hide problems.
